Initial Consultation

On your first visit to our office you will be welcomed as a member of our family and our receptionist will greet you with a warm smile. You will then be asked to turn in the required forms that you have filled out at home. It will help us gain some information about you.

Dr. Ochev will have a dialogue with you regarding your overall health, your past dental experiences and any current dental problems you might have. He will explain his philosophy of care and spend some time discussing the progression and prevention of dental disease. Every new patient is treated as an individual with distinct personal and professional needs. No treatment will be performed without your consent.

Examination

After the initial consultation with the doctor, you will have a complete and thorough dental examination. Our examinations evaluate the integrity of each tooth, the supporting bone, your bite as well as a screening for oral cancer and other pathological conditions.

X-ray

Dental X-rays are usually required to get a full evaluation of a patient. We request that all available previously taken xays be fowarded to our office. The need for future X-rays is considered on a case by case basis.

Report of Findings

After gathering all the necessary information a letter will be sent out to you. It will have explanation of all the findings and treatment options. The doctor will go over those findings with you at a subsequent appointment. Treatment will be prioritized in order of importance taking into account long term goals and comprehensive care. At this appointment you will have the opportunity to ask as many questions as necessary. We want you to feel totally comfortable before moving forward.

Treatment

Treatment may include those services necessary to achieve a goal of optimum dental health.

Our office accepts many insurance programs, specifically the ones where you can choose your own dentist. We work hard to help you receive the full insurance benefits that you are entitled to. For patients who have little or no dental insurance coverage, flexible payment plans or financing programs can be arranged.
